Hello Visitor,
What a rollercoaster of a month October was! It started on a real high with everybody back into the full swing of training. Goals were being achieved, there was great energy and effort in all of the classes and the obstacle course was busy with teams, school groups and birthday parties. Then, boom.... lockdown and regrettably, we were forced to close our doors. It is extremely frustrating as we really feel that the fitness and wellbeing industry should be considered an essential service, especially during the current circumstances.
The Stables, by its very nature, is an environment where people feel better when they are here. For many, it is an escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life and it is a social outlet. We know therefore, that it is difficult when that is taken away from you, but we must keep positive.
We would like to encourage you to keep up with your exercise, in whatever form that may be. We have the online classes going ahead as normal (see below for more information) but as you know, we very much endorse being outside in the fresh air. The idea of doing that is easier said than done when the weather is bad, but put on the layers, waterproofs and just take that first step out of the door. As soon as you get going - whether you are walking or running, you will not regret it and you will come back in feeling so much more positive and energised.
Kids Activities
Kids Training is allowed to continue!
Luckily, lockdown hasn't stopped kids outdoor activities from taking place, so we were delighted to be able to carry on with our Halloween Kids Camps earlier this week, albeit in smaller groups. We had lots of fun, got extremely muddy and they particularly enjoyed the pumpkin hunt amongst the Christmas Trees!
We are also continuing with our Active Kids Classes on Mondays and a new 5 week course for the month of November starts this Monday. All kids are welcome from ages 5 -12 and bookings can be made here.

Christmas Present Idea!
It seems as if everyone is talking about Christmas presents already, so it might be time to start dropping hints about what you would like for Christmas!
Perhaps you have a friend or relative who you think would love to come to The Stables in the new year and see what we are all about.

Online Classes
Online classes with Anna and Aoife are a great way of keeping accountable with your training over the next few weeks, while lockdown continues.
You can either join the class live at the times below, or if they do not suit, you can still register for the class and receive the recording to do at your own time (within 48 hours).

Going forward, you can either purchase the classes individually, or, alternatively, buy a pass of 6 online classes and then book into the classes you prefer, by typing "MEMBER" in the coupon section at checkout.
Christmas Trees at The Stables
Preparations are underway for Christmas Tree Harvest 2020 later this month and from the 1st December, Christmas Trees are available to buy directly from our farm here at The Stables.
Paddy and his father Robin have been growing Christmas Trees for over 40 years, supplying the the Irish, UK and European markets. They have an excellent selection of quality trees for you to choose from this year.
