We are delighted to introduce our first monthly Newsletter. Thankfully we have resumed all our classes and events here at The Stables and would like to let you know what we have going on in September.
Stables Fitness Classes
From Monday 31st August, we will begin our Autumn timetable.
This is very similar to our Summer Timetable but we invite you to purchase a pass of classes for the month of September.
The Class times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7am & 9am and Monday through to Thursday at 7pm. We are looking to start new classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8pm if we have enough interest, so please let us know if that time suits you. You do not need to book into specific classes in advance, you just come along at your preferred class time.
If you have never been to a Stables Fitness Class and are perhaps considering coming along, you can be any level of fitness to join these classes. We have mixed ages, gender and abilities in all our classes and we are very confident that you will really enjoy exercising in our unique environment.
We have a few Personal Training slots available with Anna, Ger & Emer in September. If you are new to exercise or haven't been exercising for a while, it can be so daunting starting and we really understand this. Our trainers are kind, approachable and have huge experience in helping you get to where you want to be. We do not endorse anything extreme, instead, we focus on giving you the tools you need to become happier, fitter, stronger and the best version of yourself. We understand that this needs to be sustainable and for the long term. So many of our longest standing Members started with Personal Training and they are still here as part of this community, training regularly with us in either 1-1 sessions or as part of our Stables Fitness Classes or Pilates Classes.
Personal Training courses are sold in a block of 10 sessions, and can be private 1-1 training or semi private training in a small group. To enquire about the times we have available please contact us.
Pilates & Yoga
Reformer Pilates Classes are back, and for those who have not yet met our new instructor, we are delighted to welcome Aoife O'Flynn to the team.
Aoife has a wealth of experience and you can expect a challenging class suitable for all levels. Aoife incorporates all muscle groups into her classes, and gets you focusing on good quality, mindful movements to have you feeling stronger and more flexible.
We are currently running 7 classes each week and you can book into the classes here.
If you would like to try Reformer Pilates but are perhaps apprehensive about joining a class, we have two '' Introduction to Reformer Classes" on the first Tuesday of each month.
Alternatively, you are very welcome to book private 1-1 sessions with Aoife. Please contact us for further information on this.
Mat Pilates classes continue to take place on Mondays at 10am and Tuesdays at 7pm and Yoga classes are on Wednesdays at 7pm & Saturdays at 10.15am. These classes are suitable for all levels. Aoife also runs a pregnancy yoga class on Saturdays at 9am.
Kids at The Stables
After 4 weeks of fantastic Kids Summer Camps (thank you to all those who joined us), we will continue with our Active Kids Classes on Monday afternoons at 4pm and 5pm.
These are suitable for 5-12 year olds and kids can partake in similar activities to the camps. We aim to be outside unless the weather is not suitable, spending time practicing the obstacles, working on improving agility, co-ordination and strength. These classes are taken by our highly experienced and popular trainer Emer McCarthy.
